Summer is on its way, at last!

The pool at Encore opens, the cards are being dealt at the Rio in the World Series of Poker, Las Vegas is the most popular Memorial Day destination in the country and is expecting some 300,000 visitors to play, party and spend.  In four days, when everyone has gone home and the numbers are tabulated we should have an idea of what to expect for the summer season. Las Vegas, Atlantic City and the other casino resort locations in the country are hoping to see some hint of a change in the economic trends. But before we wake up with a hangover from the long weekend and start to count the results we have three days to relax and enjoy the beginning of summer.  And living in Reno where we have had rain all week and chain controls on mountain roads, summer sounds pretty exciting.  Happy Memorial Day!
