Thrown Under the Bus by Paris in Vegas

And then the beautiful young heiress threw the silly young man under the wheels of the bus.  This posting is a serious mixing my metaphors from yesterday; Paris Hilton, as soon as the press began clamoring for her head, decided the cocaine was definitely not hers, even the purse where it was found was not hers, none of it is her – it is all  his – the boy-who-would-be-friend.  Now the boy that was on his way to being Steve Wynn’s favored-boy and Paris Hilton’s boy-friend is apt to be boy-friended in the exercise yard in the prison; and here the mixing of the metaphors – he will become a yard bird, a tweetie bird only I don’t think prison officials will let him twitter, do you?  Paris and Vegas will be fine, but when traveling around with some people you need to be careful to stay away from the wheels of the bus – especially when you are simply a companion of convenience.

No word on young Jordan carrying a purse or cocaine, nor of him throwing his friends under the wheels of the bus; although he might his father famously bought a bus once for the minor league baseball team of which he was a member.  We probably will never hear a real update on the investigation of MGM by Nevada regulators, but the story is continuing to make the rounds today as more and more newspapers across the country pick it as if it were today’s news – slow news days are like that.
